Went to the local public range to try out my USFA’s earlier today. Not too shabby. I just need to get used to the trigger, it’s on the slim side, and I’m used to the wider trigger of my Ruger New Vaquero’s. Still gotta practice with my weak side, all my misses and off target shots happened with my weak arm.
Oh, got a cartiridge stuck in my cylinder while trying to load it. Seems that the bullet wasn’t seated properly, thus causing an itty bitty bulge that caused it to get stuck. Odd. It was factory too. Cosi va’l Mondo.
Interesting to see an unusal amount of Women at the range as well. They all seemed to be having a good time, those ear to ear grims can’t hide the fun I’m sure they’re having.
